Q: How long have you been a member of HB
Ski Club?
A: 1 year
Q: Why did you join the club?
A: To meet people who loved to ski
Mammoth and want to do it regularly.
Q: Skis...or Snowboard? Why?
A: Skiing. I like skiing because of the
versatility of performance you have. You can cruise with slow arcing turns or
makeQuick edge changes – mambo style. I have been skiing Mammoth since 1965 and
watch Dave McCoy continually expand the resort making it bigger and better every
year. Major kudos to Dave McCoy.
Q: Are their any other sports or
activities you enjoy?
A: I rollerblade to keep in shape for
Skiing and backpacking. I like to Hunt and Fish. Once in awhile I take a day
boat to Catalina to fish. In the fall like to hunt Dove’s, Ducks and Geese.
Every other year I travel to Wisconsin to hunt water fowl my hunting partner of
55 years.
Q: Ok--now for the workQuestions... what
do you do to earn a living so you can go on our fabulous trips?
A: I worked in the aerospace industry
for 41 years and retired from Boeing in 2005. I had the pleasure of working on
some very interesting and exciting programs, including the Apollo Program,
Apollo-Soyuz, Space Shuttle, Ballistic Missile Defense, and finished with a
satellite program called Orbital Express. A very challenging and rewarding
career.
Q: What is the one thing you think no
one would ever guess about you.
A: I spent 9 years in the Indian
Princess program with my three daughters. I take line dance lessons 2 nights a
week and I take care of my grandson (9 months old) 1 to two days a week.

Q: What is your pet peeve?
A: Dirty dishes in the sink. If the
dishwasher is full….empty it!
I don’t like to be late, which is difficult
with my Wife. She is not an on time person, except, she was never late for work
and is never late for her golf matches!
Q: What do you think was the best TV
show of all time?
A: Mash
